Instead of jarring, high intensity, exercise, Tai Chi uses low impact, slow and naturally flowing movements that are done softly and mindfully. The movements are often circular, with relaxed muscles. Since it is such a gentle, flowing, exercise system, Tai Chi offers benefits for people at all levels from young practitioners to older adults living with physical limitations and / or chronic pain.
Our relaxed and friendly classes are based on the Yang style of Tai Chi. The classes follow a carefully structured syllabus that ensures you will always be developing at your own pace. From your first lesson you will be shown simple exercises and routines that will lead to better balance and posture, increased strength and flexibility as well as calmness and peace of mind
